It seemed natural to combine my partner's skills as a Builder and Carpenter and love of renovating with my love of de-cluttering and organising. Through de-cluttering, cosmetic renovations and/or upgrades, repairs and kerb appeal services, we knew we could help others achieve the same success as we had. Through our combined skills, professional trade disciplines, intellectual property knowledge and bespoke project management, we joined forces and launched Renovate Your Real Estate in 2020.

Shane Peel
Shane has spent over 25 years refining his skills and developing his technique as a builder and carpenter. Shane is passionate about renovating properties and making the old new again. He is a fully qualified and licensed Builder, Carpenter and Joiner and a member of the Master Builders Association.
Shane has renovated many homes across his career, but is most passionate about cosmetically renovating homes, repairing homes and creating curb appeal prior to selling and renting.
He has an eye for whether a home needs a new kitchen or the current kitchen can be upgraded and retained to ensure his clients do not over capitalise and walk away with the biggest cash profit.

Donna Gilmour
For Renovate Your Real Estate, Donna is home base and the traffic lights. It is her project management, working cohesively with the Client, Builder and other trade disciplines that allows her to deliver quality, on time, on budget and to specification. She is degree qualified in Commerce majoring in Accounting and has an honours degree in Psychology from Griffith University.
She is passionate about helping her client’s put their best foot forward when selling their homes with de-cluttering, de-personalising and staging for sale. She believes you only get one chance to make a good first impression and if you want to secure and increase your equity, sell faster and attract serious buyers; you have to make sure your home has been Prepared to Sell.
